Renting a Storage Unit

What kind of documentation do I need to rent a storage unit?

Renters must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid state-issued driver’s license, ID, or passport.

Do you have long-term leases?

All leases at Pender Storage are month-to-month for flexibility. Long-term customers may prepay for a full year (12 months).

What You Can Store and Payments

What types of items can I store in a storage unit?

Storage units can hold household goods, seasonal items, electronics, books, documents, collectibles, office supplies, and more. Hazardous or perishable items are not allowed.

What should not be stored in a storage unit?

Do not store hazardous, flammable, perishable, or illegal items. Anything that may leak, spoil, or attract pests, such as food, chemicals, or certain batteries, is prohibited.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.


Access, Security, and On-Site Features

When can I access my belongings at the facility?

You can enter the property with your gate access code between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm, seven days a week.

What type of security do you have?

We feature video surveillance throughout the property, controlled access hours, and an on-site property manager.

Do I get a lock when I move in?

Maximum-security locks are available for purchase in our office, along with a full selection of packing and moving supplies.
